Re: manually logging into portal

Thanks for posting that reply from Vectric. I'm disappointed that the login doesn't remain in force because it causes an interruption in thought and process, but it is what it is. 'Not sure why they changed it as the login used to be persistent. +1 I sent something to support over a year ago and th...

Re: Detail lines in Vcarve inlay

Technically it really doesn't matter, except for the interior lines which I assume you are going to VCarve or Profile. Just my preference there really aren't any wrong ways. Flowers and leaves first; secondly interior lines on flowers and leaves; thirdly the Stem fourthly the line on the stem. Since...

Re: manually logging into portal

It use to log in automatically.

I thought it was Vectric's way of keeping track of whether you are using more than one copy at a time.

I guess I won't worry about it if everyone isn't logging in automatically.

manually logging into portal

When ever I start a copy of Aspire, doesn't matter:
10.515, 11,554 and 12.005;
2 different makes of computers;
win 10 or win 11
I have the press the sign in button.

Once I do it once for a day it automatically signs in.

Any suggestions? It use to log in automatically in the past,

Thanks

Re: double sided model thickness

Would help you could provide some phots of settings or preferably the file itself if not a copyright issue.

When using a zero plane if you don't Merge it, it change change your Base Height.

Re: Is there a trick to getting a bowl bit finish pass?

If I understand your question.

In the pocketing toolpath you can control the depth of each pass,

Just make the last one say 0.02.

Re: vector boundary

Photos of what you are trying to do would be helpful.

Typically you only get the error message you referenced when you needed to select a vector before you pressed a given button.

I have no clue why you are getting that error message when you are trying to create a boundary vector.

Re: Considering Vcarve

On a model that simple just create it, a good way to learn the software.

It will cut faster than 3d toolpathing (rough and finish).

The image you show could be done with pocketing and profiling and if you want to get fancier a moulding toolpath.

The training videos will show these too.

Upload the file too.

Was it reversed on the screen?

Some of those fonts with the @ in front of them do funky things.
