For all you advanced users, this is probably a dumb question but... I often have carves that are 3 - 5 hours long. I just upgraded to 11.016 (I believe) this morning. I did have 11.0 installed prior. I started a new file and drew up some items, then double-clicked to remove waste from the preview. Got the message that all would be deleted because of tabs, etc. The material thickness was set to 1". The cut depth ...

Thanks Adrian. Good catch. It was embarassingly easy to miss that little item. About 6 hours of gnashing of teeth I'll never get back.

First off, I'm pretty new to cnc, so please bear that in mind. I'm cutting out wooden puzzle pieces (for kids) - in this particular case, a salmon. The cutting out is fine, but I'm also profile cutting details (60 deg Vbit, .05" depth) so the fish puzzle piece has carved details, i.e.: friendly face...
