Re: DVD of Premade Projects
Disclaimer: I have not purchased patterns from either site. I purchased & used the full set of files from LazerTech & found them to be pretty good. I did some tweaking to get them to meet my needs, then I expanded the lineup. I no longer have a machine that can cut these files, so I don't use them ...

Re: Router and Collet suggestions
You will not regret getting the spindle. Given where I live, an air cooled one would have been the better choice.

Re: A Parting Gift - Snappy Safe Stepper
Maybe you could market designs even if you can't cut them yourself. Just a thought. That is a very good thought. I do have some other KDF type items. A "5 sheet Playhouse" and I was working on a "Castle Playhouse". I just returned from helping the new owner of the "Tree Frog CNC Machine" get it set...

A Parting Gift - Snappy Safe Stepper
Hi Folks, I thought I would post this parting gift. It is a safety stool that I saw in a magazine & converted to CNC in Aspire 2. I made a few modifications to it and added a couple of shelves on the blackboard (non step side). No screws are used. It will support over 250 lbs, but is mostly for kids...

Ken is correct in that statement. I have agreed to sell him my copy of Aspire V2 which I think he is going to upgrade to V3.09.

Re: Machine For Sale
Thanks to ALL for your emails, phone calls, concern & suggestions. Unfortunately I have more severe allergies that just wood. Petrochemical & tar allergies sent me into the computer programming field a long time ago while I was studying Robotics in the mid 80's. Ruined 4 years of my life & I have n...

Re: Machine For Sale
Hi Ken, I replied to your email, but it never worked. Sent a PM. I prefer to sell Aspire with the CNC machine if the purchaser doesn't have it. Otherwise, I will sell it separately and you are #2 on the list. . Sorry about the link but one can get there from the main page, or the correct link http:/...

Re: aligning a set of vectors to another vector?
you can manually move and rotate an individual shape and align it to another shape like an arc or even an uneven shape. just double click on the shape and move it or scale from the corners or rotate from far out. don't know if v3 is any better is i also have 2.5. you might need to zoom a bit

Re: Texture!
Hi Tim, Not really sure what you were saying, so just to clarify. The second item I referenced is available under the GNU public license. Also, there are many, many, GIMP (free GNU) plugins (free GNU) that do some fantastic image manipulations and create textures. There are also graphic transform pl...

Re: Help importing .eps files
I told Vectric about this last March and sent them sample files. I use Ghost Script's GSView (free) to make them readable by Vectric. Just open the file in GSView, then click on file convert , pick device = pdfwrite with a 600 resolution, and click OK. That's it. Would have thought V3 would fix that.
