Re: Easy Gadget Downloads
There's no message coming up when using IE.
On any browser the bottle carrier results in an error message as Jim says. The Easy Box Maker just hangs and doesn't download or return an error.
All the others are downloading correcly.

Re: Export circle as a circle not 4 arcs
You need to know what your software's definition of a circle is. A circle as a circle doesn't explain it. In vector terms it can be 2, 4 or more arcs, a series of bezier curves or a series of very short line segments. As you're using DXF the bezier option is out so it's some combination of arcs (mos...

Re: Easy Gadget Downloads
Internet Explorer (not Edge) downloads the files as zip rather than vgadget.
Doubt there are many people using it still but thought it worth mentioning in case you get someone else saying they are getting zips.

Re: Virtual Center Dimensions Different from Actual Dimensions
I ignore the file specifics and go straight to cutting, but this time I noticed that the dimensions were different and I don't understand why that would be if it's reading the G code (which in the header does show the correct dimensions). The dimensions in the header code are just text variables li...

Re: Easy Gadget Downloads
Is the site fully functional or is it a preview currently? None of the downloads work for me.
Some of the download links resolve to "vgadge" rather than "vgadget" but the ones that resolve fully result in a 404 error as well.

Don't know if that's the exact model you have but the principles would be the same I would think.

Re: Printing Project
You can print the 2D model full size if you export the vectors as a PDF and then use a PDF printing program such as Adobe Acrobat to print it. Those programs allow you to select the scale for printing. The problem I have had, however, is that the vectors appear as very thin, and thus quite light, l...

Re: VCarve Pro & Desktop 11.5 are OUT NOW!
I just upgraded to 11.504, and I have a Shopbot PRSAlpha 96x48 ATC (automatic tool changer). The software will not allow me to save a file with more than a single toolpath. What am I missing? Check your settings at the top of the Save Toolpath dialog. You need to have it set to something other than...

Working ok for me. Are you sure you deleted absolutely everything on both sides? I just deleted everything via the modelling tab only for both sides.

I expect it is. There's no way you could get what you were describing if those three pieces were joined in the beginning.

Re: Toolpath
You can change it in the Start At options in the profile toolpath or you can change it by moving the start point in node editing and then changing the Start At option to Keep Current Start Points. Not sure how you're getting it to start at the lower left though. If you have the two side and bottom v...

I run 11.504 but i saved the file as an Aspire file by mistake but you won't be able to open it in 10.515 anyway. I'll do another one now in 10.5 for you.

Re: Toolpath
So, I'm back to trying to understand Node Editing. I have watched about everything I can watch, but still struggling. Maybe I'm going about this wrong, so that might be an issue also. I'm just not sure. So I have a 4 sided flat panel (Top, Bottom, LSide, RSide). Currently when I select the panel al...
