At one worm I choose a 6mm ball nose cutter instead of a 3.2 mm cutter and wondered, why everything was a bit thinner. However, to practice the painting technique of Michael Tyler I finished it and now ...

Hi Ron,
You don’t have to hide anything under color. Good work and beautiful wood speak for themselves ( the sign is also great).
Merry Christmas

5 String Bass

Moin, I designed an 5 string bass customized for my little fingers in Aspire, so that I still have enough options to make changes to the neck afterwards. The body is made of alder and has a nitro finish. The neck is made of maple and has a shellac finish. The biggest challenge for me was the design ...

Re: Roughing pass taking extremely long time

I have attached my job setup sheet, which applies to my machine, which is more stable. When printing you setup sheet you can have the material setup graphics printed as well (if you would like to). From your web browser choose "Print preview...". In the dialog box there should be a "Background grap...

Re: Roughing pass taking extremely long time

Hi, i found a youtube video of a bass guitar being milled. The neck is also clamped diagonally for reasons of space. I mill my guitars using the same method but not diagonally. The speed at my machine is diagonally neer the same. I have attached my job setup sheet, which applies to my machine, which...

This is a Recycling project of a firewood vase and a glass flask of a vanilla pod. A customer wanted a vase of tree bark for his girlfriend. He likes it rustic but I hope he takes another flower. The biggest challenge was the long drill into the crosscut wood. Birch wood size 125 x 175 x 43 ...
