Thanks a bunch Randall. Cant think of much in the carved stone line i could do and sell right now. But i haven't thought along those lines. I do like soapstone though. Hmmm.

Could you enlighten me on bits to use on soapstone ? Feeds and speeds ? Sounds interesting,like to try it. Course , i dont know where i'd get soapstone in mid north indiana. I can get limestone easily but i worry it would be real tough on my equipment. Thanks, rick

Probably shoulda spray a sealer in the lettering first, then the paint. That should help with the bleed. Even so, looks good. Check out pricecutter for some more lettering bits. Your on your way, mister !

Cheapest thing i can think of is to paint the foam with a waterbase high build primer. If the primer sticks to the concrete some, you should be able to power wash it off. I think it would protect and help the concrete release. I havent tried it yet, but i think it will work. Please post your results...

YOHUDI I right clicked and saved the PDF worked like a charm. Long time ago i looked at max , maya and many others. But i never heard of gmax. Thanks to you , I believe i will check it out. Appreciate it. Max obviously is a piece of cake for you having used it for 10 years, but all those 3d programs...

Oh I am glad you mentioned Bullseye.... Thats exactly what they carry. I'll have to go to Lowes then an see if they have the de-waxed version. Thank you very much Tim. ! You know, I have used acylic paint over polyurethane , lightly steel wooled, then did a paintings. I then put on two more coats of polyurethane to finish. These all look great. Would you be so kind as to tell us what products you used ? I have tried glazing with oil based paint and immediately removed it. I have never used shellac or glazes. Thank you kindly.
