Re: Ring Box

That is a cool little box. I don't think I've seen that design cut so small before. It actually holds up design-wise. I wonder if you should rub a little stain into the recesses and off; just to enhance the carving a little.

I would consider that an honor (or as James would spell it "honour").

So, yes, you have a license to use the photo.
Thanks man.
And in my neck of the woods we spell it honour too. :)

That is really fantastic. Every time I come back and look at it again I want to build one more and more. I don't have time but I suppose if I started gathering parts..... My main problem would be the controller. I've always wanted to learn how to design and build PCB's, but I don't have the ...

Tom-- I don't know-- something I could make a plaque out of, a flower, a bonsai tree, a picture frame border, a plinth block, something for a fireplace mantel. I'm not big into the outdoors hunting theme, something that might appeal to women??? Looking for ideas that I don't yet have I guess-- Jack...

The panels look great, AD! I posted a copy of the Dasch Fun Cuts panel at the Silo User's Forums to show the gang what my sculptures look like when carved. The panel is receiving some good comments, and compliments. http://www.silo3d.com/forum/showthread.php?p=99056 All three panels look superb. I s...

Jimbo, are you looking to build a working 3D rocking horse, or a dimensional image of a rocking horse?
I have recently completed a dimensional clipart rocking horse model for VectorArt3D which should be released in the next week or so.

Wow!
I do approve.
What a fantastic looking carving.

Tony, could you ask Ivo if I could post the image on a couple other forums?
I will give him a credit line if I show it. I know a lot of my 3D modeling colleagues always like to see how the 'real-world' version looks.

Nice work Ivo!

HA! I'll have to take your word for it. I'm having trouble after creating an object with instance mirror, making the mirrored side a solid part of my object. When I save and open in Cut3D, I only have half of my object there, the mirrored side didn't save as a solid. Want to share your metho...
