Thank you Michael (mtylerfl). It worked exactly as you described. Thank you for teaching me something new to make the weave behave. I'm not as good as you sculpting the clean up. I cut out a section of vine just under the where it needed to be repaired and moved it to cover the new unwanted overlap....

I drew the 3 vines (3 single line vectors, not autotraced) and you can select them individually so I don't think there can be any gaps. In order to get a file small enough to upload (see attached) I had to cut off the bottom 2/3 of the vines, lower the resolution, get rid of every extraneous detail....

Here is a picture. I drew this in tinkercad and can export it from there and into Aspire to make the part. But I'm trying to learn Aspire better and wondering if I can do the whole thing in Aspire.
