Re: OT Question
Update........I decided to get the Dropcam unit and have to say I am really impressed. First, it is very easy to set up but I had a problem. I had no idea what the password was on the wireless router since it is a secure network. I guessed everything I could think of but still no good. Finally I goo...

Re: OT Question
I saw a real nice system at Sams Club today. 2 outdoor/indoor wireless cameras, that looked really nice, 7 inch portable monitor which is wireless with rechargable battery, DVR , can go wifi for $349 That's not bad for all you get and what it claims to do. It's by Uniden. I read many reviews on it a...

Re: OT Question
I have been looking at all kinds of these cameras on the net and reading reviews and am just as confused as I was at the beginning. Some may be good if you are smart enough to do all the IP address thing which I know nothing about. Even a guy on youtube said he had a problem and had to have a geek h...

I want to see something as it happens, not a still picture sent to my Phone. I do realize the video most likey will be a slow choppy frame rate but that would be ok.

Re: warped/cupped wood question
It has relaxed after being wet and clamped. It's still clamped and I will let it dry and watch it. I want to make a free address sign for a long time customer that at one time was so productive in home projects and now he is bent over from back problems and other things. His old address sign he made...

My wife has a small Nikon camera that shoots avi videos (it is a still camera). What I am trying to do is load the video from the camera to my computer and then email the video file (avi) to a friend. A short, 14 second video was about 15 mb and just took forever to upload to email and then I also c...

Re: Aspire V3.09 Update Available
Let me see if I'm correct. The patches are only for Aspire 3 and above? I'm still on ver 2.5 and this does not apply to me at all?
