beautiful work. Did you remove the piece from the cnc each time you poured the next color and then placed it back for the next cut with such perfect accuracy, or just leave it on the machine the whole time?

an alternative epoxy is "Milliput." comes in a pair of putty sticks that are kneaded together and pressed into the carving. Once hardened, just sand off the excess. Since this is a solid format, there is 0 bleeding. Only drawback is limited colors.

just started using sketchbook on ipad to draw some curvy vectors. seems easier than doing it within Vcarve. what is the best format to save these in for importing to Vcarve: tiff, jpeg, png, bmp? thanks

ok, cut the circle, applied my text, all went well: but the video does not show how to re-unite the two 1/2 circle vectors. i tried 'join vectors' and everything else i could think of, but no luck. i eventually just deleted the two 1/2 circles and drew a new circle around the text, but that created ...

I understand how to move letters apart when they overlap, but I'm showing intersections with parts of letters, e.g. an E is showing an intersection between the vertical line and the middle horizontal line. I tried joining vectors and that did not work, and cutting away a node did not work. software ...

i understand that to place text on a circle, you need to first cut the circle in half. how is that done? do you need to then join the 2 halves afterwards? thanks

I was trying to use the text spacer function for 1st time today and could get it to work (the "T" does show by the cursor). what are the commands to expand/contract the space between letters? do you need to be in text mode or 1st convert to curves? tjhanks
