Problem with the bitmap layer

Hi, I have a problem with the bitmap layer that is so dimmed down that is almost invisible. I have created my main vectors from a bitmap in Illustrator, then i imported the eps file in Aspire and all that is fine; the problem is when i also try to import the original bitmap, to have it only as refer...

Re: I think that I have a problem with the new chamfering tool

This is what I get with the moulding toolpath using just a straight line as moulding shape, it follows smoothly the contour of the object.

Re: I think that I have a problem with the new chamfering tool

I see what is going on, I thought that it would create a smooth finishing path, at this point is better the moulding toolpath since it will follow smoothly the outside contour, while the chamfer does not.
Thanks for the fast reply and the link.

I think that I have a problem with the new chamfering tool

I created a file to cut a picture frame, and i tried to use the new chamfering tool in the back to make the edge lighter. If i well remember the presentation it was said that i can use a ball head mill to do it, but looking at the simulation in Aspire does not look correct. Chamfer angle 70 degrees,...

My first jog in Aspire

Here is my first job in Aspire, a tray in Honduras mahogany for the wife with the same pattern of her dishes, I draw all the vector paths in Illustrator and imported them in Aspire then carved with the Shapeoko 3 XXL. The tray is quite large 24" by 19" and required almost ten hours to complete, most...

Re: Contemplating buying a Shapoko, but their speed/feed defaults make no sense.

I had the Shapeoko for 6 months now and my main complain is the flimsy grooved belt system that is not always precise, often in the finishing passes you see the jumping of the V wheels over the grain of dust that build up on the aluminum rails and on the wheels themselves, that means often a lot of ...
