Re: Online Store

Hi chemstock , Just wanted to says thanks for your genuine post. I liked your last comment "you don't ruin a good hobby by trying to make money off of it" as that is kind of what I was trying to do, have some fun while making some money. Re: Online Store

Hi Pro, Reading through your post, I started to think, this guy has the answer! Your thought process was the same as mine in some ways, find something that I have an edge in or can make something unique that can't be purchased elsewhere. I guess you did have the answer if only for a short time and I...

Re: Online Store

Hi TReischl, Thanks for your comments. I came to your conclusion a while ago that if you are going to try and do what I am doing, multiple machines are where it's at. The problem is you need to find what to make with those multiple machines so you start with one and find your market. That's where I ...

Cutting oh so slow

hi, in the last toolpath [ .25"DownCut EM Profile Cutouts] in the attached aspire file, the feed rate is set to 120 inches/min. however, when the file is running I would estimate that the feed rate is actually about 5 inches/min and if you check the total machining time, it is about one hour and 30 ...

Re: First Official Sign

looks great. I am just starting out and cutting everything in pine. I found some MDF and cut out a couple of projects and it worked out well especially when a wood grain might have detracted. do you use MDF for all your projects?

Re: PhotoVCarve Troubleshooting

hi, right after posting, I remembered a video where you could override the 100% setting for the line spacing. I put in 35% and right away the density of the grid went up and the carve time went from 4 to 20 minutes. It is running right now and I suspect this will fix the issue, I hope. I responded r...

Re: My first litho in awhile.

i came in here looking to see what type of photocarves people were creating and the quality but after seeing your lithograph and others, I think that is what I want to do! Re: Moulding Tool - Rounded edge
