yeah, that is what I did attached thew board against the front of the machine where my spindle could still reach it and there I cut my real dovetails. but that was with trial and error and lots of waste material to try it out. Kind regards Hans

Thanks, but those are not through dovetails, those are with dog bone holes, A through dovetail is seamless !

Hi, is there anybody who can make a through dovetail gadget, for end-grain milling?? I mean I have made with trial and error real dovetails in the front of my waste-board,I needed 12 drawers to match an existing cabinet with 12 missing drawers, For that it was worth the trial and error method. with a 2d image or vector you point the mouse at the detail you want to see and scroll the wheel mouse en you zoom in on that exact spot in a 3d view you can only zoom in at the dead centre of the screen so if you want to closely examine a spot yopu have to move the picture over en start scrolling a...

zooming

why is there a difference in zooming for 2d and 3d with the mouse wheel ? almost any respectable cad software it's the same . be it sketchup or other software autocad etc
