Re: V-carve issues- I am out of ideas!
Are you using the correct post processor for your machine? Why do you have "project toolpath onto 3d model" selected? Take off flat depth. Troubleshoot one thing at a time. The toolpath preview looks ok on my software. Doesn't appear to me to be a Vectric problem at first glance.

Re: Dinosaur
I got the file here. Modified and cleaned up in VCarve 10. Scaled it to the plywood thickness I used. Cut with a compression bit. https://www.ameede.com/page/2/?s=Dinosaur

Re: Serving Board and more
I used a straight guide for the side to keep the X axis correctly lined up then pulled and reset the work piece to cut the whole board. 40” max cut on my Y axis and the board was about 6.5’. Worked out good for me.

Re: Serving Board and more
I try to get the best yield out of each board. I spend way too much time picking through the the pile before I buy a piece. What I cut off or around I try to CNC those small pieces into something useful like these things.

Re: Ship and Lighthouse
I think it was around 10 hours. .25” clearance bit then 1/32 tapered ball nose.
