Did you try exporting in MM instead if inches? your are off by a factor of 2.53 and 2.53CM is a inch export to mm and from fusion in mm and import in Vectric in mm and see what it does

Painter tape and hot glue works well I have never had anything come loose.
Tape on the edges and tape on the bed then glue around I don't run a high speed machine but never aproblem
