Flutes in one direction

I have a project where I need a flute in plywood and each deeper pass goes the opposite way. Is there an easy way to have the pass only go in one direction to make the cut look better. Its kind of a climb/conventional cut kind of issue. The back stroke pass messes up the plywood's skin. I know I can...

Certainly the second, but I do need a radius into the hole to glue plastic tubing too. The sharp cut in the second image is close, but again need a smooth radius to match the tubing's arc. The tubing will be glued to the wood all the way from the beginning of the flute to and through the hole. Mecha...
