2 rail sweep along the x axis, and y axis
I'm trying to create a model part (ex. Fender for a Woodie) that has two different curves along the top and sides. I've created the part, and both curves but have not been successful in sweeping both the x cross section, and then the y. Is there a better way to accomplish my goal?

Re: Paradise Box Issue
Well, I think I've figured out the problem that I have been having. In analyzing the behavior of the system I was only having a problem when the tool was using a Vcarve toolpath. In looking at my Post Processor I noticed that I was using the CNC Shark Laser, not the CNC Shark Arcs. Once I made this ...

Re: Paradise Box Issue
Michael, Still working the issue. I've been volunteering at our local high school and have had my hands full of 34 "teenagers" trying to learn about woodworking. Quite rewarding, but I need to be cloned a few times to handle them all :D I'm trying to upload a couple of pics that show what the machin...

Re: Paradise Box Issue
Thanks for the feedback. I'll give it another try after looking at those settings. I was quite sure that it has been run many times, and the strange thing is that it looks great when previewing the toolpaths.

Paradise Box Issue
Has anyone made the Michael Tyler "Paradise Box"? I decided that it would be a great Christmas gift, and decided to start with the top, chip carved engraving. I chose a nice piece of Macadamia Nut and proceeded to run the TAP files reconfigured for my Shark 4. After it was complete I noticed that in...

Re: Importing 3D Clipart into Aspire
THanks all. I'll give these suggestions a try. I tried playing with the radio buttons, but they didn't seem to do what I needed. I will explore more. Tom

Importing 3D Clipart into Aspire
I'm looking for some info on how to import a 3d model into Aspire. I created some "blocks" in another program in the past (don't remember which program I used to create them) that are basically a set up block with various angles. THey are used for setting up my cutting fixture for using a table saw ...

Saving a project as clipart for future use
Hi... I'm fairly new to Aspire, and continue to learn something new every day. Looking forward to the upcoming symposium in Denver. In the mean time, I have figured out how to create a square dish with gently flowing side walls similar to the round dish that is available as a component in the clipar...
