Yes, the material being cut is .5 thickness. I will work on why the soft limit is being thrown. Since I need to be cutting, the "hack" is working well until the real problem can be found. And thanks again for getting me running again.

I totally removed the z value shown on line 87 from your post and the toolpath ran successfully. The cutter rose to .7000 and moved to the workpiece center. But where did the .7000 value come from??

Adze_cnc, that definitely makes sense. I was considering ditching v11 so I appreciate the help. My projects weren't cutting all the way through and that created problems. I tried adding a meaningless small circle as the last toolpath in the waste material hoping that would get me past the problem ar...

Since the ver 11 upgrade, my tool paths don't run correctly on Masso. Only toolpaths created before ver 11 work . When the cutter drops to z 0 and starts the final run I get a z soft limit and all motion stops. Anyone else having this problem?

I ran the file on my masso and it ran fine. Only thing different was I transferred the file to masso using masso link. You might want to contact the masso forum for help. You can send them the file and let them look at it. They're extremely helpful.

No, I didn't manipulate the drawing at all. The larger fillets are the ones that wouldnt delete. The smaller ones are the resized ones. Ill change the curves but it might be good to know why it happened. just a fluke I guess. Anyway, all is well that ends well as they say. Thanks for all the help...

As soon as I did the drawing, I added the fillets using the fillet tool. I didn't do anything else to them.

Yes, I will see if I can do that. In the meantime, I drew a rectangle and put several cut outs to fit into a mating section and erroneously created .175 radius dogbone fillets. When I tried to change the size to .125 I could delete some of them and change them to .125 while others on the same drawin...

ver 10.5 is not letting me delete dogbone fillets. some will delete, others wont. has anyone else run into this problem??

Thanks...I had to redraw the file and save to Masso .NC format. Lesson learned.
