Re: fillets

No, I didn't manipulate the drawing at all. The larger fillets are the ones that wouldnt delete. The smaller ones are the resized ones. Ill change the curves but it might be good to know why it happened. just a fluke I guess. Anyway, all is well that ends well as they say. Thanks for all the help...

Re: fillets

As soon as I did the drawing, I added the fillets using the fillet tool. I didn't do anything else to them.

Re: fillets

Yes, I will see if I can do that. In the meantime, I drew a rectangle and put several cut outs to fit into a mating section and erroneously created .175 radius dogbone fillets. When I tried to change the size to .125 I could delete some of them and change them to .125 while others on the same drawin...

Lost Files

1. Is there a way to convert a TAP file back to its original CRV file? OR... 2. I saved a tap file to a tinyg post processor. Can I run that file on a Masso if its saved as tinyg post processor? I'm sweating bullets....

Re: New to Layers

Bob, since I don't have a ATC, I just put each toolpath as a separate file and run it that way.

Re: Problems with Vector Selection Order toolpath

I always cut thin material using this method. Tabs merely keep the material from coming apart after its cut. They are not designed t...

Re: Zeroing off Machine Bed

If your touch plate is spring loaded, it may be depressing some when the bit contacts it. Lower your probe speed a bit. I,m assuming you accurately measured the thickness of your plate.

Re: VCarve Inlay clean-up

Trying to plane inlay is iffy at best, and a downright disaster at worst. I always use my widebelt sander but a drum sander is excellent also. In the absence of those, I would saw it first and then use a sanding block to flatten it. You can then sand or scrape it in the usual way.

Keyhole gadget

I haven't been able to get the keyhole gadget to simulate correctly since the upgrade. It cuts the slot but doesn't drill the pilot hole and withdraw as it used to. Could someone with the new upgrade try it and see if it's on my end? thanks
