Re: 4 bottle display/sales aid for local chilli dealer

I think you have misread the agreement. I believe it means you cannot buy a model and then sell the actual 3d model file. You should be able to produce anything with that model whether commercial or not and sell the product just not the actual 3d model. Hopefully Vectric can step in and verify this.

Re: ShopSabre 4896 - Persisting 'Z" Axis Accuracy Issue

Check that the ball nut on the z axis is not turning in the holder. If the newer one is the same as mine it is threaded into the aluminum plate. Mine became loose and would turn sometimes. It was very hard to get at and the grease zero woul not allow it to tighten up so I had to lock tight it and no...

Re: Lettering problem

Your v bit is not the correct angle or is not specified correct in the file. All the corners of your text have a small defect. This can make your text different. Did you modify the length of your text to fit in the center area as that would also make your change scale and get thinner.

Re: MI Command...

the ocsilating would be used when cutting hpl on a substrate so the cutter is not wearing in one spot. It would be used for melamine also so the cutter lasts longer

Re: autocad dxf files not showing up

before exporting from AutoCAD select all the vectors and type in 0,0 and then zoom extents. The 0,0 point should be the lower left corner of your vectors and import without your origin problems

Check out the 18" xps all in one by Dell. They are coming out with a 10.8" windows 8 tablet soon with up to an intel I5 processor so they will definitely work. I really would like the 18" XPS. It is under there desktop and all in one area not the tablet category because it is basically like an a ver...

Re: Issue, but can't figure out why?

Did you run a roughing pass with a strait end cutter then use a ballnose for a finishing pass. It looks like you did the finish pass with the strait cutter on the second rather than the ballnose

Re: Losing Z Height in Mid Operation

Our electric company just changed out our transformer yesterday. On the weekend I stopped by our office and the place smelled like burning plastic. The electrician came and checked the voltage coming into the building. It was 160 on 1 line and 90 on the other. We have been having problems since a st...

That is one of the best paint jobs I have ever seen. I love it, and the interior wood work is very cool and is up to the quality of the paint job. Great job!!

Make sure that the dado you have drawn is joined or closed. If one end has a small gap it could cause problems

Re: V Inlay problem

If you cut them with a 1/2" ball nose it will not work. You need to use a v bit 60 or 90 degree. you can also use a regular 1/2" cutter or end mill to machine off the top and it would be alot faster than using a ballnose.

Re: The Finish That Almost Finished Me

One thing nobody thinks about is the sander. We did a large glulam beam job and used Cabot stain on it (as per the architect). They then decided that the use of a deck stain for the interior of the building was a NO-NO (fungicides). we had to sand it all off. They ended up having to do it all with h...
