I tried it and the message I get is it can't be previewed but it can be downloaded. I downloaded it and opened it.

2 rail sweep
I just upgraded my software to Aspire with the idea of doing some modelling. I have created some very simple projects but lots to learn. When I saw Gert Burkhart's scalloped cherry bowl I thought it would be a good learning lesson on how to create this using the 2 rail sweep. So now after many hours...

Re: Running Vcarve 11 on a laptop
I am with Martin on this one... hate touch pads so much, I have it turned off on ALL my laptops (windows only). Hopefully you mean the touch pad. There are external track pads. Is that what you are referring too? I do all my graphics work with a simple usb wireless mouse and have rarely had any iss...

Re: Running Vcarve 11 on a laptop
Some trackpad makers (such as for some Lenovo products) have their own drivers that add more sensitivity options than are stock in Windows. So for a Windows laptop you potentially have: manufacturer's driver >> Windows driver And for macOS you potentially have: macOS settings >> Parallels settings ...

Re: Running Vcarve 11 on a laptop
I'm currently running Aspire 11.503 on a Microsoft Surface Book 2, with no issues. Prior to this, I ran VCarve Pro on a Surface Pro 3. In neither case has the track pad been any kind of issue. On the Surface Book, I use the track pad and mouse interchangeably. I also have a Wacom digitizer attached...

Running Vcarve 11 on a laptop
Is anyone running Vectric software on a laptop and using the trackpad? I have been trying to get the software to behave on both a Macbook Pro with Parallels and Windows 10 and Windows 11. I have also been trying to get it to run satisfactorily on a new Dell PC with Windows 11. I get varying results ...

Windows 10 & Parallels
I am running Vcarve 11 on a Macbook Pro with Parallels 17 Sometimes things work as expected but more often than not the tooltips do not show up, and in order to see the position of X,Y, Z at the bottom of the screen I have to click on the screen to update the info. Still running Vcarve 10.5 with Win...

Re: Profiles and Moulding function
Adrian I set the z zero of a touch off plate and the only time I have this issue is with the moulding toolpath. All other toolpaths act as they should. Thanks Steve I knew there was a reason that I am getting the results I am. Your description of the action is exactly what I am seeing. Even though I...

Re: Profiles and Moulding function
I could use some help with this.
I have had this problem on other moulding toolpath projects.
The tool starts above the work piece and makes several passes until it finally makes contact with the work piece.

Re: Vcarve Pro on the Mac Mini M1
So I am running a M1 MAX MacBook Pro with Parallels 17 running the Beta Arm Win 11 and it finally working. There was some glitches in the beginning. I have tried a few different things with Files being saved. So Right now I cannot save them to my iCloud account due to the file path name. So, I have...

Re: Vcarve Pro on the Mac Mini M1
As I posted earlier, it doesn't work. Parallels 17 will not allow you to import existing VM's and creating them has proven a challenge. Took the computer back. Waiting until they get the bugs out. People at the Apple store were aware of the issues.

Re: Vcarve Pro on the Mac Mini M1
Returned my Macbook Pro to the store yesterday. Talked to three different people and when I told them the problem not being able to run VM's they all agreed it is a problem at this point.

Re: Vcarve Pro on the Mac Mini M1
No, I am using version 11 of Parallels. It was easy to install and works seemlessly. With all the issues I am seeing on the M1 I am wondering whether there is other software that won't run on Windows 10 with Parallels 17.
