Re: Vectric InLay

Thank you Martin

As the inlay will be in a tray and not subjected to the elements or rough handling, I shall use the tape method,

Appreciate your advice as always.

Re: Aspire v11

There is currently an issue with v11 in that it's not always showing clipart that is stored in the cloud as previous versions did. Are you sure the clipart is installed locally as it should be displaying correctly in the Clipart tab if you have the folder links there still? You can verify what clip...

Aspire v11

Have updated to v11 and my DM models did not transfer from 10.5 all the clip art is there, I have an extensive collection of models.
Do I need to download them all again from from DM account ? or can they be copied from elsewhere on my pc?

Thanks

Re: Aspire V11 is OUT NOW!

Question: can I move all the clipart from the v10.5 directory to the new directory for v 11? Clipart is installed in a central location that is available to all Vectric software on your computer. It's not installed in a version specific location. The default install location is: "C:\Users\Public\Do...

Edit Modeling Tool

Am I correct in saying that you can not edit or change a "shape" once you have accepted the create shape from vectors.
While you can use the "wrench" to change shape and base height you can not change an angle etc.
The component must be deleted and created again.

Thanks

Re: Todd's Catch Tray using offcuts

Hey Aussie... I had a look at the file and racked my brain... and I think, keep in mind it has been a bit since I ran the tooling, it had something to do with the Clearance toolpath. I see in the toolpaths I choose to leave zero Machining Allowance and well that may have been a bad idea if I miss m...

Re: Todd's Catch Tray using offcuts

WOW!!!! I do like that a lot!!!! Well done. Thanks for sharing and really nice-looking piece! Thanks Todd.... you did all the hard work in the design. Only issue I had was on the bottom side Sweep Profile was a step half way down, did not happen on the top side. I am using a 1/8 TBN using a 8% step...
