I wonder if in a future version we would be able to group layers in the same way we can now group tool paths and models? This would be great to help with organizing work.
I hope so. That would help me

The spindle start/stop in the Ooznest PP is just an M3/M4 call there isn't any pause or delay in the file so I would presume that is being added in the control software itself. The Jet On (laser) section uses the M3 call as well. Some of the GRBL like machines use M3 for fixed speed and M4 for vary...

Re: Technique For 3D Vcarve Inlay?

I have thought about doing this on 1911 grips. I think on the inlay in addition to flipping it horizontally that I’d need to flip the grip and subtract the 3D pattern before projecting the male v carve inlay on top of it. I don’t see why it would not work. But I’ve been wrong before.

Re: Create Component from Toolpath Preview Help

Thanks Adrian It did nothing with just control held down but created the component with both control and shift held down. Might be a VMware Fusion things interrupting Control alone. I wanted to use it to try to generate vectors to laser onto a 1911 grip to highlight areas of the 3D design. Here is t...

Create Component from Toolpath Preview Help

I'm watching an old Vectric youtube video called "Vectric - VCarve From 3D - Must See Technique" and I'm trying to do it in Aspire 10.5. I see the menu structure has changed a bit (no problem there) but I get as far as clicking the "Create Component from Toolpath Preview". In the video it says to "C...

I just upgraded to Aspire and am trying to search for clipart by name. The link above no longer works. Is there an updated link or alternative method to search with 10.5? Thanks

Tip #1 No Z I have two post processors I use with my laser. One has Z motion and the other removes the Z. An easier way to m...
