Re: Designandmake DIY craft CNC
Thanks for those dimensions TSM2018. I'll start with an order for the acrylic and get those cut first. I am not worried about whether to use cast acrylic or not as , other than the enclosure , there does not seem any point in being able to see through it. I expect to have to redesign and print the m...

Re: Designandmake DIY craft CNC
I am following this closely as I have a Proxxon that would be great for the same thing in lieu of the dremel. I have downloaded the files with the idea of maybe cutting it on my Shapeoko but i am still building it and so far can't even use it  Can you tell me if the dxf files have the dimensio...

Re: Beveled Box, Guilloche Inlay, Wooden Hinge
I think a tutorial on the hinges would be great and something I am sure would appeal to a lot of members. A generous offer and I hope you get the time to share the knowledge

Re: some stamps and a medal box
Very nice Brian.
I left Auckland for Whangamata a while ago but have a niece whose partner is at Whenuapai - Mike Leonard.
I hope I get to do as good eventually. I am enjoying Vectric projects while I assemble my Shapeoko3.

Re: How do you organise your files in VcarvePro
Thanks guys. Pretty much along the lines I would have expected with a couple of minor tweaks. Now to grab my downloaded projects and set up a start point. Assembly is going very slow at the moment as I am in to the 3rd month of a post viral cough. Its really energy sapping and I finish up with monst...

How do you organise your files in VcarvePro
This might become more obvious to me once I actually start cutting some projects but I am currently in the process of assembling my Shapeoko3. I am also trying to learn Vcarve using the free trial. When you set up a project do you create a folder for it and then place in that folder, the CAM and CAD...
