"Failed to extract the vgacget archive" I'm using version 11.008 of Vcarve Pro and Windows 11. Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

Two pieces of plywood for one circle

I want to cut one circle that takes two pieces of plywood. My machine is not big enough to cut both pieces in one cut. So I'm going to start in the bottom left of piece #1 of plywood. When that one is done, how do I set up piece #2? Is there a setting in VCarve Pro to do this?

After getting involved in doing a 3d relief carving its takes to long to do. I cant spend that much time on one picture. I don't want to do a relief carving what else is there.

Just steer me in the right direction to do the 3d relief carving. I tried to message Michael Mizalick but it says I'm not able to send messages at this time. I was going to watch the video on George Washington. Thanks again for the help.

My nephew just passed away last week so I'm trying to do a 3d relief carving for his mother so it's very important to me to do this. I appreciate all the help from you guys.

Sounds like your are importing a photo and making a model component from it. If so, the issue of darker areas (shadows in the photo) carving too deep is common. To be successful making a 3D relief model from a photo of a person’s face, you need to create underlying shapes to raise areas where neede...

I'm guessing it's a v-carve in which case you can invert which way a section cuts by adding a vector around or removing a surrounding vector.

carving problems

Good Morning. I'm trying to do a carving of a boys face. Some parts of the face are going negitive and i need them to go positive. To prevent holes and sunking spots. How can i specify a certain spot to work on. How can i do this or can it even be done. Thanks I'm using Ink Scape and Aspire 9.5
