Re: diamond drag bit question
Steve over at iconic helped me figure out this g code stuff using another PP, this picture shows a 3/4" x 1/2" name engraved on glass with a 120 bit with 0.1 pressure, looks rough! what pressure would be a cleaner and better look ? thanks https://i288.photobucket.com/albums/ll177/jgstang58/dd/diamon...

I did a copy of it first, I was suppost to delete them from the NC file which I know what that is now! I tried to edit...

Re: diamond drag bit question
ok, so just to make sure I do this right before i goof! if i copy and paste the PP i have in my PP but change the name and delete the M3 i should be good... not touching the original one, so when i do a quick carve.. if i go into my PP and click it, it will be using it with the qiuck carve option on...

Re: diamond drag bit question
New question because I don't know about this stuff.. I my case, can I just change the postprocessor for quick carve only ? in other words, when i'm doing any other carve use my the way it is and (only) when using quick carve its set up to use another PP ? that would make it simple.. thanks

Re: diamond drag bit question
Well I talked to Steve today over at ICONIC, very smart and nice guy! so here is what he said to do.... get my toolpath project on my FD and then open it in notepad to get to the codes and find M6 and M3 the M6 just stops the extra motion for the tool changer and since that's not needed delete it al...
