Thanks for posting that reply from Vectric. I'm disappointed that the login doesn't remain in force because it causes an interruption in thought and process, but it is what it is. 'Not sure why they changed it as the login used to be persistent.

If you keep v11 on the "CNC machine" and use v12 to design and create the toolpaths, I believe that it would take away the ability to change the design in your shop if you needed to. I don't recall intimating that the two were linked because they are not. And I do agree that it's just a different business model.
