thanks for sharing the idea and file. I took it a little farther. I have been wanting to try my first project with two-sided carving, and this seemed like a great one to try it on. having the pocket help keeps snacks from falling off, and the pocket on the other side helps give you something to hold...

thanks guys, I ended up using General Finishes Exterior 450, is does have UV stuff in it. after reading the cans of finishes at my local woodcraft store, the marine spar varnish they had was only a top coat, it required an epoxy basecoat first. talking with some of the guys at the store, they highly...
