V Carve Pro Version 11.009
Hello,
When a known open vector is selected, and I hit the join vectors icon both closed and open show nothing.
What is causing this? Should it not report 1 open vector?

Re: Nesting Version 11
Maybe so. It just seams logical to start on the first sheet. Especially if you bring stuff in there to get a quick material count and do not realize it added 1 sheet. I know now. Thank you.

Hi Dealguy11, When I do this Nesting operation in 10.5 it works just fine, starting at sheet 1.
Thanks for your reply. Jim

Nesting Version 11
Any one notice when nesting in version 11 the program doesn't nest on sheet one. The nesting starts on sheet 2.
The only work around I found was to manually nest sheet one first or Rename sheet 1 to sheet 0.
Am I doing something wrong?
Thank you for your time.

V-Carve hangs sometimes
V-Carve 10.59 hangs sometimes. Most likely it is computer issues. But I am using other software that is much more demanding than V Carve and those programs run fine. Tried to reinstall software on different drive. Software runs fine on a similar computer. But this computer is hooked up to CNC and I’...

Computer Shuts Down & Aspire
Just noticed this happening in the last 3 months or so. My computer would shut down unexpectedly. Its happened 6 or 7 times and always with Aspire running. Has anyone else had this issue. I was thinking my power supply was crapping out on me? But it seems like the only time this happens is when Aspi...

Re: Adding a bitmap to a 3d model?
It would really be great if you could export a rendered 3D toolpath from this program to another. like v-carved letters. Any one know of a way of doing this? Thank you. Jimmy

Machining Vectors Icon going wrong way?
Hi my friend Peter Passuello from CNCnutz posted a video on YouTube today on Climb Verses Conventional Milling. I noticed this. And please correct me if I am wrong, that the Icon in the Machine vectors box of the 2D profiling was going the wrong way. At least I think it is? Never noticed this before....

Re: Nesting Explosion Please help
The reason for the small corner shapes is so that I can use a smaller 1/16" bit and not force it to run around the whole letter.
The holes are for mounting.
If you can sugest a better way of doing this, Please I would appreciate the help. Thank you. Jimmy

Re: Nesting Explosion Please help
Hello thanks for responding. There is a work around but you have to add a rubber band boundary around the letters and group all that. Then nest then Ungroup twice to layers and delete boundary. Was hoping they would fix this issue. Thank you for your reply. Jimmy

Hello,
Yes you are correct. I have duplicated that problem. It also happens in 9.015.. The little things can drive you crazy with these programs. Have a great day. Jimmy
