Would it be possible to do v-carve inlays around the rotary? This would alleviate the sides issue

Using the box gadget, is there a way to not have the dovetails made on the bottom edge of all the parts? I do not have selected to make a top or bottom. I would like to just have a straight bottom as I will put a dado in all the sides for the bottom. This looks like a pretty cool gadget. Maybe I am...
