Just thought I'd mention that we plan to add this feature in V11.
Yes - a wonderful and versatile new feature, Mohamed!

Re: Split Component using a vector

Hi,

Make sure the “Auto Scale Z” in the Set Size menu is unchecked (turned off) before you resize.

Re: Anyone doing epoxy inlays successfully?

Hi,

If you specify a Start Depth (by an amount you think you will be sanding off later), this will preserve your details after sanding away the paint/epoxy overfill.

Re: Birdhouse project

Yes, John is correct! I used the Vectric Aspire software to create that project (it is proprietary for CarveWright users).

I have a similar project on my ta-do list for a future Vectric project, but I cannot reveal exactly “when” it will be released, though!

I am looking for a tutorial for the Inlay Toolpath. Somehow I am missing it.
Here's one: https://www.vectric.com/support/tutoria ... arch=inlay

TURK
Hi Turk,

Make sure you haven't set your Z Home Position amount by too much for your machine. This is a common "newbie" mistake that causes "Z-crashes".. See the attached screenshot for clarity...

Re: 3D Mouse

Ted, I thought you had mentioned you have CorelDRAW, some time ago...it also pans with the scroll wheel held down. (So does Auuuto cad.)

Re: 3D Mouse

Even easier - press down on the scroll wheel to pan while moving the mouse. The panning feature(s) via the mouse have always been there.

Thank you for giving this to us, Bill.

Here is my version. It is only about 8" tall, made from 1/8" MDF. I did it single-sided and cut the ornaments through the material.

I love the addition of the lights! Very Festive!
