I have to add since you said you are new to Vectric be sure to watch the tutorials they are fantastic and is in my opinion the best way to learn the software.

I have a Camaster SR-23 and would suggest to wait until your CNC arrives. You will have some questions best answered by their Tech support at Camaster. And if you have FTC they will show you how it works. Another suggestion would to ask you questions on camheads.org a very good forum to get Camaster...

I did not contact CAMheads , I just tried different feeler gauge sizes until I was happy with it. Still not sure if the airlift pressure (Z lift) is a possible issue. I was told to set at 25 lbs.

HI, I had this issue on my stacked text when using a 1/16 bit also. I have a Camaster with FTC that each time the file calls for a different bit it will zero the bit on a pad after I install a new bit in the spindle.
