drawing to toolpasth
Why would the starting points be so different in going from drawing to toolpath? Example: Inside cutout drawing shows X7.2829Y0.9359 toolpath: X57.715Y23.885 outside cut: drawing shows X0.5012Y0.3182 toolpath X12.699 Y8.010 All drawing dimension are in inches. Mach 2/3 arcs inches is how the post pr...

Re: smoking pipes
Thanks for the comments and feedback. After thinking about it, I am thinking that the easiest approach may be cutting it as an indexing job on a 4th axis. Re: smoking pipes

smoking pipes
Has anyone considered the possibility of cutting a smoking pipe on a 4th axis? Is it possible? Could it be cut from a solid blank?

Re: v9 won't open a project after it has been saved
Yes, the file was saved to the hard drive. I did contact support and they said there is no fix for error code 1. Also said I may have computer problem. I did try to reopen the file a couple of hours later and it opened right up, naturally right after I completely redid the drawing and file work. Not...

help and suggestions
The attached file will be a wedding gift on a cutting board--designed in Aspire 3.5. "ROEBUCK" is intended to appear as a phantom in a dish recess. Everything else will be v-carved. Would appreciate any suggestions for improvement in design etc. The phantom may need to be taller

Re: double toolpaths
Adrian is correct. There was 3 nodes on top of each other and until 2 of them are deleted, you will have that problem, according to Vectric support. It probably doesn't happen that often, but it makes one wish there was a "multiple node detector" of some kind, that would delete the excess nodes and ...

Re: double toolpaths
All I am trying to do is make a simple cutout tool path for these parts, but the tool path gives me an inside cut plus an outside cutting tool path.
