Components and Assemblies
I currently use Vectric Desktop as well as Alibre Design. In Alibre Design I have the ability to make parts and assemble these parts into an Assembly to get some idea as to whether the individual parts will fit/work together. Is there anything within the Vectric offering that has this functionality?...

Re: Distort not working for me
You guys are absolutely correct!! I was rotating the text to follow the 2 curve lines and that is a BIG no no.
Maybe I shouldn't overthink think this....

Distort not working for me
This sign is patterned after the 2.5D Coffee sign tutorial on the Vectric website. My issue is with getting the "Uncle" and "John" text to distort within the 2 vector lines correctly. I made sure that the 2 vector lines bounding the text where in a direction the was consistent with the sign and dire...

Re: Origin Problem
I think my issue is work offset in my UCCNC post processor. The offset in G54 for machine cordinates is set to .5(X) and 1.5(Y), not sure why but will change it to zero and see what happens.
Thanks,
Peter
Thanks,

Re: Origin Problem
To answer your question which I don't think I did in my previous post I want the outside vector to be centered on the work piece and the inner vectors to align as specified within.
Thanks again,
Peter

Re: Origin Problem
When I look at my tool paths in VCARVE they are centered on the work piece. When I load the gcode file into UCCNC the toolpaths are no longer centered on the workpiece. If you look at the attached picture the toolpath for the X and Y axis are both offset in the positive direction and are no longer c...

Re: Origin Problem
I know this is an old post but I have had this problem since I started using my CNC router a few years ago. I too cannot align my toolpaths on the work piece when I load the file into UCCNC. Also have the same issue with Mach3. Is the problem with my VCARVE setup or my CNC router? Please refer to th...

Re: New England Meet and Greet
Leo, I might be interested in attending, just came across your post. I'm a newbie newbie and this might be a good time to meet people who have been doing this stuff for awhile. I live in East Bridgewater which I think is about 1 hrs drive.

Re: Support Pages and Frequently Asked Questions
Thank you Adrian for your help. Is there a way to re-size with an exact size? For instance if I have a circle that is .250 in diameter and I want to resize to .500 can this be done?
Again thank you for your help!

Re: Support Pages and Frequently Asked Questions
I'm a new Vectric user so forgive me if I'm not posting my question in the appropriate forum. I'm using VCarve Desktop Ver. 9.008 and have a basic question. I'm trying to resize a circle and can't seem to do this. Seems like it should be a very simple thing to do but checking withing the software an...
