Re: Laguna Swift/RichAUTO A18E controller

Re: Laguna Swift/RichAUTO A18E controller
Just got the time to try it out. Looks like stock firmware other than the Axiom logo at the start. My parameters restored fine except for homing order. But it never does.
Unfortunately, I still have the same result so I'll definitely have to get a hold of someone at RichAuto.
Thanks for the attempt.

Re: Laguna Swift/RichAUTO A18E controller
Yes, I would be interested.
If it doesn't work, I can always flash back my current firmware. I've got a backup of all of my parameters, as well as pictures of every screen.

Re: Laguna Swift/RichAUTO A18E controller
That would explain the difference. My firmware is q13-1337. I've sent an email to richauto, but haven't heard back. I may have to try to call and see if I can speak with someone.

Re: Laguna Swift/RichAUTO A18E controller
Thanks for that. It make me wonder though...
Could you check the firmware version on your controller for me?

Re: Laguna IQ Spindle Cooling
I changed out the water cooling in my IQ within a month of getting it. I was concerned that there was no way to check temperature other than touching the spindle, and there was no way to tell if you were out of water. And I was also concerned about corrosion. So I retrofitted originally with a small...

Re: Laguna Swift/RichAUTO A18E controller
Edit:
I connected my controller to my computer and it opened up quite a few more settings but still no "RT Type".

Re: Laguna Swift/RichAUTO A18E controller
Oh man, I got so excited this morning.....until I looked at my controller. It seems this might be a special firmware feature for Axiom handhelds?

Re: Laguna Swift/RichAUTO A18E controller
Did you solve this issue? I'm using the RichAuto B18e for my Laguna IQ. I added the 4th axis on my own so I purchased the B18e controller (RichAuto recommendation) to replace the A11e, and a driver board to go along with the 4th axis hardware. So my machine is a true 4th axis, and not a "substitute ...

Re: EasyStairMaker
The main information for building any staircase is Floor to Floor height. It's always nice to have options with the overall length of the staircase though as long as it meets code. Steeper staircases save space but are much more dangerous. More relaxed angles (longer run on the treads) are safer but...

Re: EasyStairMaker
Ok, here are the early results as I haven't tested every combination. When I use your default rise and run values, I get the same results you do. But when I change the rise to a realistic floor to floor, I don't get any result int the step configuration. In other words, if I enter a rise (floor to f...

No, don't rush. I'm just prowling on the forum since my CNC is down.
I look forward to seeing the next version.

Re: EasyStairMaker
Hey, Thanks as always for posting this. I don't know where you get the time, as I barely have time to check this forum every few weeks! The only reason I'm here now is my CNCs power supply died and I'm waiting for the new one. Anyway, I tried this gadget on Vcarve 10. Maybe I'm not configuring thing...

Re: Easy Cabinet Maker
If you're spending all of that time making a gadget that will benefit anyone using their cnc to cut cabinet parts, I'm on board for testing. In fact, I can see using this gadget to draw the parts so that I have a cut list for the table saw. I only have a small cnc so I could only do 1 cabinet part a...
