Vectric Customer

I was told on another Website that VCarve Pro and other Vectric products had native Linux versions, true or false?

It was an air cooled spindle from that outfit out of Chicago and the VFD was Hitachi not Chinese but Japan. Sold all that a year or so ago so a little rusty.

I was using Mach3 since back in 2010 and had issues from time to time. I was very happy to switch to Mach4, and thousands of others more have switched to it or to Acorn which is a good replacement.

Mach3 is buggy, and the big issue I had with it as it does not seem to clean out the caches after a forced stop or otherwise. More than once drove the Z into my work.. Its 30 seconds not 30 minutes. Vectric is about a fair and honest company as I have ever dealt with, especially as a software company.
