Now I don't see that I think if they were to stand out more it would detract from the effect, great work I don't think you could better it.

Re: Dancing Garden Birds

How did you bend the corian? Thanks for the compliments. It is easy to bend Corian. I used my wife's kitchen oven. Preheat to 180 deg C. Put the dodies in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes. One can test whether it is soft enough by lifting one side up to see if bends easily. Bend it in the shape you wa...

Dancing Garden Birds

Not sure if this is worthy of the Forum but it was something that my wife wanted. As the saying goes: Happy wife, happy life” My wife saw this Dancing Garden Birds on the internet and ask me to make it for her. Normally these are cut out of PVC pipe using a jigsaw. I decided to do it the lazy way an...

Re: 2 Gifts

Thank you for the kind comments. Phil, Yes, it is Corian. The advantages of Corian is that it cuts very clean with no “fuzzies” and it takes paint very well without any “bleeding”. Steve, thank you for spotting my mistake, I totally missed it    … Luckily, this is an easy fix since...

Re: Tapered ballnose for photocarve?

My remark was based on the fact that this was posted in the PhotoVCarve section and not in the VCarve Desktop section which may lead to confusion.

Oh,
Guess I'll give it a go on my own
Take a look at this website. https://www.ameede.com/?s=house
It offers DXF files for free for various example of bird houses, Tea Houses, Night Light houses and more.
Or, simply use it for possible inspiration and design ideas.
