I like this backing idea.
That, along with a "velcro" band would work great.
I think I will try a few when I get home.

Re: Cutting Air

I found on my Pirahna that the Router was slipping upward in the bracket.
This will cause your second cut to be lighter...

Try adding a piece of sandpaper between the bracket and the router.

Re: Free Project - Banana Split Banana Hanger

Michael, Thought you might like this.. Debbie created, made, and painted this about 30-years ago, long before we had cnc. The bananas are real, she eats one or two every day. banana.jpg Now that we have cnc and laser she doesn't want to make anything anymore... I'll bet your banana was a bit...

Re: Free Project - Banana Split Banana Hanger

I have some bark blanks (discs), that I picked up at a hobby supply, that I might alter you project to use...
Just cut the axe portion with a through block to join to the base.

Great idea and thanks for the projects.

Re: Help Copy CRV3D files

I can suggest;
1. map a drive to the location where the file(s) reside.
2. change the extension temporarily

Re: Sincere desperation here

Now that Kathy has them (I assume), I would think an edit to remove attachments.
It appears that a few others have not been so considerate.

Re: Mini Cooper Car

When you import the model, you can change the unit of measure in the "Model Size" section.
The program will convert the units.

Re: First Tiling Project

Yes your description of moving the wood is correct for tiling.

I did 3 bit changes on my first tiling attempt.
My thoughts were do all the cuts for Tile 1 before you move and re-index the wood.

I am waiting for the all the files. Next Wave Automation is releasing 1 piece per month for a 10 Anniversary commemorative Chess Set. http://shop.nextwaveautomation.com/shop/custom.aspx/chess-board/45/ Rough cost of the wood for me would be about $400, before carving, but I can't see cutting a pawn ...

Yes. But...
Some of the project might be to big for the Desktop version.
I'm thinking the Desktop version is limited to 24 x 24 inches.
