WHy? you can use a CNC to drill if you need precise XY positioning that is repeatable.

When I picked up my CNC it ran win95 for the interface PC, 2 years ago I upgraded to XP , cant go any further because I need to use a piece of interface software that is only 32bit

Why do you need the point? I use many 120 v-bits with the small flat at the tip and have never had an issue, ramp your entrances .
