Model for V-carve pro

Hey everyone, I run VCarve Pro, and I have a project for myself that I need a dome added to a vector. I am making a guitar and would like to make a curved profile to the back. The cost to upgrade software for a personal project that I will use once is not justifiable for me. Can anyone help me out? ...

Re: 120 degree V bit with sharp point tip....

Why do you need the point? I use many 120 v-bits with the small flat at the tip and have never had an issue, ramp your entrances .

Re: Tapering a pocket

mrleonwhite wrote:@adze_cnc, thanks for the reply but I want the pocket to be tapered 30 degrees not necessarily using a 30 degree bit. I am trying to create a 30 degree mortise for my tenon. How do I do that in VCarve Pro?

What you are asking is a basic cad issue. Have you gone through all of the tutorials yet?

Re: Project opinions

I drum sanded the boards to a perfect .55 each and took pains to ensure I was level, they are flat as a board. so you have a +/- of .05 " or so, that could be how far off your drum sander is from being perfectly parallel. He said a difference of 0.13" from the 12 to the 6 o'clock positions. (0.6" m...
