Re: Importing SVG
I'm using VCarve Pro v9.5 and the latest version of Inkscape as of yesterday. I have tried every SVG Extension in the Dropdown List and I get nothing. I'd attach a copy of the SVG but it isn't allowed. So I saved it as a .png file.

Importing SVG
Is there a particular reason why I can't Import SVG files from Inkscape v1.02? No Matter what I do they are refusing to appear whenever I attempt to import them into the program.

Gadgets Not Available
I just logged into my account after I noticed I was missing a few Gadgets in my Gadgets Folder. Whenever I attempted to download them I would either get Network Errors or Nothing would happen. On the rare occassion that I got through on the odd Gadget, the file would be corrupted. Is this a Maintena...

Re: Adding a Birdsmouth Form Tool
To correctly do this Dummy, I take it that I would have to in someway create a cut with an Offset? I'm probably overthinking it, but that is what I tend to do.

Re: Adding a Birdsmouth Form Tool
So in essence, it is impossible to add this tool bit to Vcarve. I guess I'll just have to manually define the GCode to create a Tool Path.

Adding a Birdsmouth Form Tool
Has anyone ever attempted to add a Birdsmouth Form Tool to their database? Whenever I attempt to add my 5/8" 45 Degree Birdsmouth Bit to my Tool Database I end up with nothing more than a 45 Degree V-Bit. When in fact the actual bit is nothing more than a V-Bit on its side. When creating the necessa...

Re: Tapered Pockets
I tried the Fluting Tool Path method, but even though the Manual states that it will create a Taper. It didn't appear to do so, though the Spline Cuts looked pretty good. Will have to give them a try on my machine to see if they're what I was looking for.

Tapered Pockets
Does anyone here know of a Video Presentation that will show me how to Design and Tool Path a Tapered Pocket on a Rotary Axis? I have a Form Tool for adding Splines to Pool Cues and need to have multiple cuts on a rotary tapered piece beginning in the center of the workpiece to one of the ends that ...

Re: Drawing Points for Pool Cues
I took your advice and instead created a rectangular file using the radius of the Cue diameter and length. Wherein I created an Inlay Tool Path to be cut using my rotary axis. I'll give it a try and adjust it as necessary to increase or decrease the number of points on a particular cue which are usu...

Selecting Vectors
Whenever I attempt to Select Vectors in VCarve Pro 9.5 regardless as to whether I use the Box Method of creating a Box from the Bottom Right to Left Upper Corner or use CTRL + A. Everytime I attempt to calculate a Toolpath, I get a "No Suitable Vectors Selected" Message.

Re: Cutting Rotary Tapers in VCarve Pro 9.5
VCarve.png Here is the Screen that I see when attempting to create a Tapered Rotary Cut and am attempting to set the Job Up. I'm attempting to design a Cut Profile for a Pool Cue Lower Section and this is before I even Add any Graphics to the Design. Other than Highlighting the Gap Inside the Model...

Re: Cutting Rotary Tapers in VCarve Pro 9.5
I was able to get it to work. Though I haven't figured out yet how to make the model smaller consistently so that I don't run into this problem and is there a Minimum Diameter that will work when setting up a Rotary Taper. Also, when I previously mentioned the 2 Rail Sweep. It was from the VCarve Pr...
