Re: SUPPORT ISSUES?? Where is support??

Going by the many previous posts on the forum about Biesse machines the issue isn't really the Post Processor. It's the control software that the Biesse uses and the way that works with 3rd party files. I would contact the supplier of the machine and get the exact process from them. When you email ...

Support Issues?? Where is support??

First off, this is not to stir anything up here, I like this forum, but Is there an explanation as to why I never get responses to tech support.? I've been patient for a month. Same problem as my other post. Vectrics Post for the BIESSE SKILL 1224GFT/15.36GFT DOES NOT work. I also have a Rover27. No...

Re: NEED HELP : BIESSE SKILL 15.36 G FT post processor

Round cut ham called bacon... We have now traversed beyond my pay grade. I wanted to verify that there were no limitations using the Biesse post with Cut2D. As you go forward with this remember that I used your created file with your toolnames to create the ISO file. Like Adrian says, others have g...

Re: NEED HELP : BIESSE SKILL 15.36 G FT post processor

They do seem very unusual in the way they work but there are a number of people on the forum who have got them working. The way it works is very alien to those of us with more "normal" machines though which is why you're struggling to get concrete help. On most machines you save the code, load it a...

Re: NEED HELP : BIESSE SKILL 15.36 G FT post processor

That PP is the same in Cut2D as it is in VCarve though. Do the names of your tools in Cut2D match the names of the tools in the Biesse software? They have to match for it to pick them up. Hey Adrian...Yes I named everything according to the naming convention on the Biesse machine. Every letter, cas...

Re: NEED HELP : BIESSE SKILL 15.36 G FT post processor

CRV opened fine. Using your toolpaths, I posted this with the Biesse Skill G FT (ISO*) postP included with VCarve Pro. I didn't audit line by line, but for the most part the header reads the same as your posted ISO file. I am attaching the file for you to look over, or load into the machine for an ...

Re: NEED HELP : BIESSE SKILL 15.36 G FT post processor

Unfortunately, most of the big Italian machines do things their own unique ways, and unless you know exactly what the Biesse control expects, or know someone that does, you could be in for a steep uphill climb. Do you know if the "g-code" is in standard text format, or a binary format? Can you post...

Re: NEED HELP : BIESSE SKILL 15.36 G FT post processor

Jason, No offense intended, but for what I understand from your post, it seems you don't have a clear idea of the process. I apologize if it's not the case: one can find beginners and skilled users or professionals on this forum, and we don't know your level. First, you have to design your work (2D...

Re: NEED HELP : BIESSE SKILL 15.36 G FT post processor

Not being familiar with the Biesse operating system, let me make the following suggestion: Download the trial version of VCarve Pro, open one of the free projects, toolpath it, select the most likely Biesse postP and see if your machine will accept the code. You wont need material on the bed, just ...

Re: NEED HELP : BIESSE SKILL 15.36 G FT post processor

There is a postP in the folder for the Biesse Skil GFT, have you tried it? Yes i have. I tried a few of them just to see if anything worked. Nothing did. I posted details initially in the CUT2D section with issues i was having. I actually was reading your posts helping someone a few years ago and y...

NEED HELP : BIESSE SKILL 15.36 G FT post processor

Hey guys, pretty new around here. I asked this question a couple days back regarding a post processor for my machine to no avail. I realized there is POST PROCESSOR area so I'll try here. I really need some help with my machine. I have art I wanna run for Xmas gifts in CUT2D.PRO but I can't get my B...

Re: Need Help - SKETCHUP + CUT2D.pro + BIESSE SKILL 15

1. Not sure what you mean by assigning even 1 tool to the nest. There's no association at that level. Cut2D does support tool changers. Perhaps you were looking at messages about previous versions which didn't? What is it you're trying to do that you think Cut2D can't as I'm not following the assig...

Need Help - SKETCHUP + CUT2D.pro + BIESSE SKILL 15

Finally joined up... great board! Seems like a lot of good help here & I'm hoping to find some answers as I'm stuck. I use SketchUp for most of my cad because I pull 3d drawings off of it, and I purchased CUT2d.PRO specifically for SketchUp automated importing & nesting, it's exactly what I've alway...
