For painted surfaces I use a spar urethane over the painted surface, then after carving, paint with acrylic which paint outside the v carve can be easily wiped off with wet cloth. I usually finish entire project...

Keepsake Plaques

I've been asked to make some keepsake plaques for lost loved ones. Corian really works well for this sort of plaque. these are two of several I have made for people. I used acrylic paint and Spar Urethane finish.

Re: Marble Game

I'll be searching Google for instructions for these games that you fellows have mentioned. I might have to make my own marble game. However, I'm not so sure about the "Mensch Ärger DIch Nicht" - "Man, don't get mad" version. Very interesting!! Thanks for all your replies.

Marble Game

A friend asked to use my CNC router to put the pockets and wording on a board he had glued together. He didn't show me how to play the game, but he said it worked out so that they could play it.

Re: Golf trophies

I have sprayed some of my corian projects with spar urethane. It comes in gloss and semi gloss. I usually use the semi gloss because the gloss is sometimes too glossy.

Resin

I know that I have seen the answer to this question but cannot seem to find it again. Is there an easy way to know how much resin to prepare for filling a groove for inlay? I appreciate any help.
