Re: Having great success

Thanks. They were a big hit with the celebs. They all commented how unique they were. Cary Elwes even took a picture of his. I use a 1/32 ball nose bit for the best detail with a 25% overlay and a max depth of .05 inches. General Finishes water based stain (usually Black Cherry, sometimes 2 coats), ...

Having great success

I really like making these, and everyone who sees them likes how unique they are. I took a half dozen to a convention this weekend and had them autographed. Morena-Signed.jpg WallaceShawn-PrincessBride.jpg CaryElwes-Princess Bride.jpg RDA-Stargate.jpg BDW-StarWars.jpg AnthonyDaniels-StarWars.jpg

Getting addicted

I'm really liking this software. I will say, I won't be doing any more of these in maple. White Oak is much easier to work with, though I'm still experimenting with different woods.

Re: Support Pages and Frequently Asked Questions

I'm having an issue with Aspire. When I try to use any of the sculpt tools, the material is sculpted in a different spot than where my cursor is. Sometimes it's close, but sometimes it's not even in the same window. I can't sculpt if I don't know where I'm sculpting...? Are you using a tablet or a ...

Picture to relief

I've searched for software that will allow me to easily convert pictures to 3d, and found that there aren't any good ones that don't cost a small fortune. I've also found th...
