Yes, I did make the coaster with my laser.
But I created the file in Vectric Desktop, so it can still be used with the CNC

Here's one the I have been refining for laser work.
It still has a little noise in it and the lettering on the flag needs some more work.
But it should carve nicely for you.
The picture is a coaster I did just yesterday on ceramic tile.

Not trying to burst your bubble or anything like that, but I think the tree is too busy and (I personally) like to see more detail.

Denny, I feel your pain brother. I'm also 70 and a retired engineer. When I bought my CNC in 2016 I didn't even know how to turn it on. When I bought the Vectric software I was certain that I was in waaay over my head but look at me now,,I'm a wizard. :roll: :roll: :roll: (which I think is still fun...

To set that in the 3D View you must use the floating menu instead (accessed via the tiny small blue square at the middle/bottom of the model when in transform mode in 3D view.)

That's what I was doing wrong.
