no, apparently not. How do I do that?

So, on my dovetail gadget, it is inserting the pins backward or facing outward. I am following the tutorial to the T, and its just not inserting them correct... help

I believe it's a computer issue not Vectric. But, it is very discerning. Of course, I purchased the laptop at best buy and I only paid 350 dollars for it. The USB driver. I'm not very computer savvy. I apologize. But, I get an error when I turn the unit on. States "plug the controller into the USB port and turn it on" and yes, it's plugged in and turned on. Lol.
