Axis xyz
Have been using my home made cnc router for many years and referring to the gantry movement up and down the table as the x axis and the spindle movement across the gantry as the y axis.

Import from Draftsight
Hi, I am using Aspire 2.5. I am also using Draftsight 2015 free version to create some of my component parts.... When I try to import them into Aspire 2.5 it comes up no data found. I have downloaded Aspire 8 trial version and this does import the Draftsight files. Does this mean my version 2.5 is n...

Re: Licenses
Hi Folks, Just a question...not a criticism. I totally understand that a software licence is only to be used by the named purchaser, and I agree :!: I am not sure why the purchaser is restricted to an ammount of computer installs if they have multiple devices and they are using them to access the pr...

Hi Petr,
Those signs turned out very well....Nice work!
Can you tell me how the standoffs are fixed to the acrylic letters?
Cheers,
Kym

Re: Multiple Supper
Hi Mark, Sorry for the delay....The bark is still very much part of the plank, I am hoping now that it is polished that it will remain so. I have spray polished them with 30% gloss single pack polyurethane. You will also notice that I have the new dish model Last Supper as well as the original. I ha...

Hi Kubic,
I think you will see a more detailed view of the image if you view it from the carved side when holding it up to the light source.

Re: Handling Acrylic
Thank you for the info....I will take extra care when handling and assembly.
I have concerns for the appearance when the the sign has been in use, and is cleaned as a normal maintenance practise.
Cheers,
Kym

Handling Acrylic
Hi, I have just started to work with clear acrylic for a LED lite sign. After the machining, (machined with paper on) and when handling to fit to the base I have noticed scratches appearing. I am working carefully with the material to try and avoid scratching. Any advice for minimising this problem?...

Hi Karen,
Once again I congratulate you on the fine carving you have produced.
I have thought the door could be used to engrave part of the verse that is associated with the lord's Supper
This do in remembrance of Me.
Cheers,
Kym
