Re: Material settings

... I have the same PC in the office with the same OS and it works fine, I think I will contact Vectric after Easter Exchange keyboards between the two computers. See if that changes something. Thank you Tex, I tried the other keyboard and mouse but it's still the same, I will try emailing Vectric ...

Yes, Adrian, it is weird, but that is exactly what is happening, I have the same PC in the office with the same OS and it works fine, I think I will contact Vectric after ...

Material settings

I was getting a black screen on my preview page and traced it back to material settings on the job setup page, the material settings were stuck on a solid colour which was black, I tried to get a wood colour, but it just quickly flicks through all the options and reverts to a solid colour again I ca...

not centering

I am trying to cut 2 parallel lines on a piece of MDF 585x377mm I want each line 110 in from the long edge, but I keep getting 105 in from one edge and 115 from the other, everything looks fine in the preview, I have used the tape measure in the software and that shows 110 in from both sides, I have...

Has the postprocessor that you linked above JTech NO Z been altered or has it got to be modified, I am getting my Zaxis moving up at the start of the engrave, and then moving down, I need it to stay fixed at 1/8 inch above the material surface, what am I doing wrong

Re: Gtech 2.8 laser

Thank's Gary Can you tell me which post processor you use for laser and where you downloaded it? I was told by J tech to download the post-processor from the cloud on Vectric but when I downloaded all of them the only two for Xcarve were inch and mm, which I already have and nothing for laser My mac...

Re: Gtech 2.8 laser

Thank you wb9tpg
I have a spindle, and I have set $30=255 $31=0, and $32=1
I am using Picsender and it is set to laser vectors but when I click on the button (check laser) both the laser and spindle come on
I really need to read something that I can start from scratch again to learn what I am doing

Re: Spindle and VFD

Thank's Martin
I have ordered some new hose and I will try that first, I know one is blocked as I tried blowing down it, but the inside of the spindle could also have some dirt in it, I was going to try and flush that out or put an air hose on it to blow it out

Spindle and VFD
