I used this font on a previous sign and for the life of me, I can't find it. I also tried a couple of find font sites, with no luck. For some reason I also can't find the file for the previous sign, but I do have a picture of it. Can anyone help me?

where is the tool database located
My old computer crapped out on me and I have replaced it. I still have access to the data in the hard drives on the old computer, but no programs. I'm hoping I can either copy/paste or import it. Any help?, I have Aspire 11 and Windows11

Re: Creating Component from a bitmap
Not really looking to create the model from scratch. I'm looking to modify a existing model that was created by Aspire automatically from a bitmap. I have a general idea, if I can separate various parts of the model and modify their elevations and blending back into the rest of the model.

Creating Component from a bitmap
I'm trying to create a model of a dog's head, somewhat quickly. My modeling skills are not yet where I could actually create it from scratch. I used the create a component from a bitmap and for the most part, it did a good job. However, certain areas are higher or lower than they should be. Is there...

Re: Restmachining Issue
I finally got this done. I didn't use the rest machining option, just a 1/16 TBN all through. This was derived from a patch.

Re: Restmachining Issue
Well after trying all the suggestions, using one tool, 1/16" TBN, gives me the best finish, with actually minimal time difference over using 2 tools and rest machining. Pretty disappointing actually. This feature was one of the main reasons for me upgrading. Previously, I had tried the manual rest m...

Re: Restmachining Issue
I did try moving the slider all the way to fine, with no effect. My boundary offset for both methods was .03 in.

Restmachining Issue
So when I run the toolpaths on this model using the restmachining option, the A's and 4's in the upper text don't cut nearly as cleanly as when I use a single 1/16" TBN. and no restmachining. I'm sure this is not supposed to be how this works. All bit parameters are the same and finish with a 1/16" ...

Re: Shortening a CNC router bit
Here is the bit I purchased. 777-2256: 777-2256 1/4" Carbide Square End Mill Extra Extra Long 2 Flute AlTiN Purchased from the Carbide Endmill store Price was $ 37.38 + shipping, which was outrageous in my mind $20 and took 11 days to receive. 3" cutting length, 6" total length. In my case, the shan...

Re: Odd Shaped Box Lid Design
Using a round over bit won't work, as mentioned previously. I experimented with this chair back and had to go back many times to open things up enough to get the router bit to do it's thing. I'm pretty sure I could do what you want in Aspire, not sure about Vcarve.

Shortening a CNC router bit
OK, so I bought a extra long 1/4" endmil. I guess that I didn't pay attention to the overall length, only the cutting length. Well I need to cut the shank down, so that the bit will fit over my piece of wood.. I'm sure it's hardened steel as my jigsaw with a brand new thick metal blade would not eve...

Re: Erasing component outside of vector
Thanks for all the suggestions, but as Michael mentioned, it has to be something simple. It was. I was trying to perform the operation outside of my job sheet. I'm still surprised that it didn't work. I often do things outside of my job sheet, just to keep things from being cluttered.

I did close the vector and just checked and I have no open vectors.
