Re: Does v12 allow different z-zeros per sheet

In some more "other words", the sheet system with Vectric software is like merging separate files into one file. It begins with default values set in the Job Setup area, but then you change those per sheet by "Edit" menu in the Sheet tab. I haven't tried to find limits to this, but each sheet even a...

Re: Tricks for continuing cuts after broken bit??

... I could just load my existing gcode in that and it 'should' work?? ... Its possible, but use ncviewer or equivalent to maybe see where that point is in the gcode. I'd be careful about gcode produced by a post processor that works with CM, but its your experiment. gSender will give you a v...

Re: Tricks for continuing cuts after broken bit??

Nothing I can help you with about CM. Its probably too late for your current situation.

However, switch to gSender by Sienci, and you will get a function for resuming at line number; along with many other features.

Re: Unwanted Vectors in Sketch Carve

You'll have to edit / refine the original portrait and get rid of those anomalies there. Then the Sketch Carve won't see them.

Re: manually logging into portal

Email reply from Vectric Support: Charlie Pullen (Vectric Ltd.) Feb 14, 2024, 17:22 GMT+1 ... once the software is active with your licence (either from logging in and activating online, or offline manual activation) your software does not HAVE to be online again after that. If you perform an action...

Ok, but where is that tool? Don't believe I've ever heard of that one. Is that an Aspire only tool?

l was told by Vectric support that there's no commanding reason to "log in" to the portal site ... unless you need downloads or updates or etc.

Re: Help with Roundover bit following edge of a chair seat

Will V-carve Pro allow you to save a toolpath preview as a model (like you can in Aspire)?
I’ve never heard of that. Very interesting.

If your toolpath selects by layer, it will only select the layers on the active sheet.

A 1mm (0.04") tip is pretty tiny :)

Isn't the tool supposed to pull out of the wood in Z to get the detail required?
What toolpath are you using?

…As always I am open for any suggestions to improve… That's why I'm asking, too! That will be really useful for snack time in front of the TV. I'm wondering what the rational was in making the "juice groove" instead of just creating a full pocket? (If there was a flaw in your cut, that was where it...
